Join the Orange County Progressive Caucus for our hybrid Monthly Meeting on Monday, March 16th at 6:30 PM, featuring guest speaker Hedder Pierre Joseph, candidate for Orange County Commission District 6. Born in Nassau, Bahamas to Haitian immigrant parents, Hedder came to South Florida as an undocumented immigrant at a young age and became a legal resident in 1994. She has lived in Orange County since 2003 and has long served the community as an educator, business owner, youth mentor, advocate, real estate agent, and active member of New Covenant Baptist Church. Passionate about immigration, business development, sustainable housing, youth empowerment, and increased access for persons with disabilities, Hedder is committed to giving voice to the voiceless and working alongside residents to “Push for Progress” across District 6. After our usual Orange County Democratic Progressive Caucus meeting on the third Monday of each month, keep the energy going and join us for a post-meeting social from 8:00–10:00 PM at Book Burn, a locally owned bar located at 2425 E. South St., Orlando, FL 32803.

This is a great opportunity to unwind, mingle, and build community with local elected officials, organizers, and fellow progressives. Come connect, sign petitions, share ideas, and support a local small business while strengthening our movement in a relaxed and welcoming space.

This hybrid meeting will feature Quinnie Perez, trans activist and candidate for Orange County Soil and Water Conservation District 1, who will share their vision for protecting our environment and strengthening local stewardship. This is a great opportunity to connect with fellow progressives, exchange ideas, and advance people-first policies across Orange County. The in-person location will be provided upon registration.
